I'm not a landscaper because it's the most profitable business I could think of, rather it's the most fun I could imagine having while working. Creating gorgeous landscapes is more than a job. It's my hobby and my passion as well. Since childhood, I've loved paying in the yard, exploring nature and learning about trees, shrubs, flowers and weeds.
I have a fabulous opportunity to work on a variety of homes, giving me the chance to create hundreds of works of art, instead of just one. I feel I truly treat each landscape as if I were building it for myself and before I finish a project I think, “if I were the customer would I absolutely love it?”

My beautiful family is not just an essential part of my design team, they're also my inspiration for building an honest and successful business. At family dinners, I like to get my children's input on my current projects as they seem to have inherited their pop's keen eye for elegant landscape design.
Three or four times a year I leave work behind and fly to Mexico or Africa to participate in building orphanages and providing much needed supplies to children in need. The cost from these trips comes directly from my family's profits from VK Landscaping.
